It is a requirement that all front yard landscaping must be completed by October 31st of the following year that home is occupied. This ensures that streets are clean and that the streetscape look complete and finished in a very timely manner. Dream is committed to structured development so that entire streets are built out at the same time which in turn allows our landscaping program to successfully complete streets in an appropriate time frame, provide residents with limited construction surrounding their home, neighbours living next door vs. vacant lots, and an overall peaceful streetscape.
Wherever possible Dream plants a tree or shrub in the front yard of each home. The benefit of the added trees makes for attractive tree lined streetscapes and a stronger sense of community. Homeowners are able to select a tree of their preference from a list of tree species that both thrive in our environment as well as fit nicely as they grow and evolve in a front yard.
