We have done a quick interview with a number of families in order to introduce you to some of your neighbours. So let’s dive in and meet one of the amazing families who have chosen to call Eastbrook home.
Please introduce yourself.
Tell us a little bit about yourself and your family. We are a young family who just recently moved into our home built by Daytona this past September. Both of us grew up in the east end of Regina, and knew that was where we wanted to plant our roots to raise our family together. Steve works in the HVAC industry, Chelsey is a teacher for Regina Catholic Schools, and they got married in the heart of the Covid 19 Pandemic in 2020! Lacie, our fur baby, helped welcome Fynnley in 2021. Our family is now excited to welcome another baby boy in September 2023!
Why did you choose to move to Eastbrook? We love our home! We decided to move into Eastbrook because of all the parks, walking paths, dog park, outdoor rink, schools, and close by amenities. The list truly goes on and on. Both of us grew up east so it truly feels like home. It is also nice to be close to family, as well as friends who live in the nearby east communities. We love to be outdoors, and the location of our home truly is our dream as it backs a walking path. It is great to see and meet so many new and growing families surrounding our new neighbourhood. We chose to build with Daytona Homes and they made our dream home possible with ease.
Everyone we have met has been so welcoming and positive. We say we truly hit the jackpot with our neighbors! New friendships have already been formed, with many memories and laughs to come. We are so excited for our son, and future children to grow up having kids the same age surrounding us. Both of us grew up in the same communities where our relationships with neighbours and friends were strong. This was and is so exciting for us as we continue to grow our family. The location of our house is walking distance (3-5 minutes) away from parks, Everyday Kitchen, 7-11, Mane & Co., Dandys as well as schools. We are a 2 minute drive from COSTCO to our right, and about the same distance to Shoppers, Save on Foods, and other amenities to the left. Life is made easy, quick and convenient for anything we need.
What do you love most about your home? Steve's favourite part 100% is the garage. Chelsey's favourite is the open concept kitchen and living room which outlooks the walking path. Her favourite will soon be the backyard, once summer is here! Now that you are settled in Eastbrook what are you or your family's favorite things about the community? Our neighbors, the parks, and all the close by restaurants, stores, and events!
