Take a walk, go for a drive — explore everything it has to offer. From green spaces to gathering spots, a well-designed community in built to extend your home beyond four walls.

2. Make a List of Must-Haves and Nice-to-Haves

Let’s get to the homes. Start by getting clear on what you truly need. Think about key factors like layout, the number of bedrooms and bathrooms, storage space, and your lifestyle. Reflect on your current home — what’s working well, what isn’t, and what’s missing. Don’t forget to jot down a separate list of features that would be a bonus — those little extras that could make your new home even better.

3. Take Notes and Photos

If you’re visiting multiple showhomes (we happen to have several great homes to tour!), it’s easy to forget specific details. Bring a notebook or use your phone to take notes and pictures of features you love (or dislike). Pay attention to design elements, material quality, and any unique touches that catch your eye.

Most showhomes are built with upgraded features to showcase what’s possible. Ask the sales team to help point out which elements are standard and which are upgrades. Ask about more customization options and pricing to determine what fits within your budget.

5. Visit at Different Times of the Day

Drop by the showhomes and the community at different times. This will give you a sense of the lighting, traffic, and overall atmosphere throughout the day. If possible, chat with current residents and get to know the people who might soon be your neighbours!
